The Blind Mechanic is the amazing story of her father, Eric Davidson, who was blinded in the Halifax Explosion, December 1917. Eric went on to lead a successful life as an automobile mechanic despite having had both of his eyes removed when only 2 1/2 years old. He was well known throughout the province and especially here in the North End of Halifax.
